AcolytesYouth (4th grade -12th grades) serve as Acolytes during our 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship services. They are trained to assist the clergy during the Sunday services by leading the procession, carrying the cross or a torch, and assisting at the altar. The word acolyte comes from the Greek word "akolouthos" which means a servant or helper who waits on another.
